Inclusion of sub-categories *

The menu entry "Include sub-categories" governs whether FindWord displays only those words belonging directly to the currently selected category, or also those belonging to its sub-categories.

Example:

Generally speaking, the category »Architecture« will specify all terms which in general have something to do with that subject, e.g. "roof" or "balcony", but no specific names of buildings. »Buildings«, on the other hand, will contain only the names of famous buildings, e.g. "White house" or "Pentagon".

This example demonstrates what may happen for the buildings "Kreml" and "Louvre":

• When the category »Architecture« and the option "Include sub-categories" are selected, then the list of matching words will contain not only terms like "Kuppel", "Labyrinth" and "Leiste", but also the buildings "Kreml" and "Louvre":
  
  
  
• If the option is deselected then only those words matching the main category will.be shown, i.e. the words "Kreml" and "Louvre" will disappear from the word list:
